Well, we’ve come to our first book in the 10 in ’15 Book Challenge! I have to tell you, I really had no idea what Tuesday’s with Morrie was even about until I snuggled up with it in the library reading chair. I cracked the cover the day after starting my new teaching job and found out that God had chosen for me to read this book about a teacher first! I shook my head and smiled, He never fails.
This book had me at hello! I was swept into Morrie’s world and I didn’t want to leave. He was the teacher I try to be. He taught the way I long to teach. He treated people the way I try to treat them. He is such a great role model for teachers and for people in general. His outlook on life is inspiring to say the least and this story of his march toward death’s doors is a MUST READ. I can see why so many people recommended it to me!
There is so much more that I’d love to share with you about the book, but I don’t want to spoil the journey for anyone who hasn’t taken it yet.
