Read it for Yourself

Romans 13:1-16:27

Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled. Romans 15:5
There is hope and encouragement just waiting for you within the covers of your Bible, you need only to open it and read.
I know it probably seems like I’m harping on this a lot lately but that’s because God is harping on it a lot lately! Think about it this way, what’s the difference between eating a nice hot fresh meal at a restaurant vs eating the warmed up leftovers later. That’s the difference between reading the Word of God for yourself vs letting someone else read it and then tell you about it. No matter how educated or passionate or well spoken they are there is just no way for a human to truly convey the message that God  has for you the way His Spirit can through His Word.
It’s like being at a historical event live vs reading about it and watching the video on the news later, it’s just not as good.
Please, I strongly encourage you to make the time today to read your Bible, even 5 minutes makes a difference!

30 minutes a day keeps the Enemy at bay!
