Please pray for my daughter Anna!!!

We need prayer!!!!! My daughter stayed home from school yesterday with a fever, not that big of a deal right. Around noon yesterday her nose started bleeding profusely. I could hardly get a new tissue up to her nose before the first one was full of blood. And it took a good 30-40 minutes to stop. In the last 19 hours she has had SIX nose bleeds just like that. This last one didn’t fill very many tissues but it did fill her stomach to the point of vomiting blood. That’s a sight no mother wants to see! Any and all prayers for Anna’s complete and total healing would be GREATLY appreciated! As well as prayers for strength and wisdom for her father and I, this has been very difficult for both of us.

    Hi Tamar:

I have and will continue to lift you all up in prayer. I checked this website online (I am sure you have done the same, but I thought I should send it to you anyway).

    http://www.healthychildren.org/English/health-issues/conditions/ear-nose-throat/pages/Chronic-Nosebleeds-What-To-Do.aspx?nfstatus=401 &nftoken=00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000&nfstatusdescription=ERROR%3a+No+local+token

I donโ€™t think it will link for you here, but I just put in the words nosebleeds vomiting blood children and this came up.

    With Love,

    In Christ,

    Brenda

    • Thanks Brenda!
I didn’t get this until just now, but I am still grateful for your concern and efforts to help!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ I KNEW you would be praying for us! Thank you so much!

  3. Why didnt you take her to a doctor??

    • The situation was complicated yet completely guided by the hand of God the entire time, of that I have no doubt. The amount of personal prayer that went into that day was immense. God has taught me to lean not on my own understanding but in ALL my ways acknowledge Him and He will make my paths clear. If He had said “take her to the doctor” I would have in a less than a heartbeat. But, honestly, there was only one point where I felt she might need to go. That’s the moment I wrote about in today’s post “Through the Fire”. My God is the Great Physician, those doctors in hospitals can’t do anything compared to what my God can! And if He’s telling me to hold tight and trust Him, then I do. Even when it’s hard and makes little humanly sense.
So while I don’t expect many people to understand or accept our decision, I do hope that they will resist the temptation to judge a decision that could have only been made by the two parents whose feet were in the fire at the time.
And don’t think I’m only talking to you alone here B, because I know that there are a LOT of people out there that are thinking the very same question. You’re just the only one with the guts to ask it. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I know that you’re not judging but curious, that’s your personality. Others however, not so much, God bless them with the true meaning of Radical Grace!!! Thank you ever so much for your prayers and concerns my friend!!!!!

      • Tamar,
There are those that would stubbornly stay put and not go to the Dr. because that is their belief…which is actually more of a religious rule – “no doctors!” BUT, that is not what is going on with you! You are not letting rules ‘rule’ you, you are allowing God to rule you. People need to realize the difference…because it is a big one indeed ๐Ÿ™‚

        Love & blessings,
        Jenny

      • Jenny, I’ve been trying this whole time to figure out how to say that and you put it into words so perfectly!!!!! Thank You!!!

  4. There was a family once who’s son got very ill, and they refused to bring him to the Dr. because they staunchly believed God would do the healing, and it was even a lack of faith to go to the Dr. in their mind. So, as a rule they believed in no Dr’s!

Anyway, the son got so bad that he died. Well, it really affected their faith to the point where they began questioning everything….then, when they were ready to hear from God, He reminded them of 1 Cor. 13:13, and that even though they had great faith, that if their love was greater their son would have lived.

This is what you were doing! ๐Ÿ™‚ You are letting God and his love guide you! ๐Ÿ™‚ So many Christians are still guided by rules of different sorts, instead of what we have available to us now in the New Covenant — Only one Commandment (not over 600 laws), The Holy Spirit, a new nature and Christ as our example.

    Bless you!!
    Jenny
