“Lord, I lift up those in darkness to You, Father please be their lamp, please turn their darkness into light. Father, I once was in darkness, but now i am light in the Lord. Help me to live as a child of light. Lord, those that dwell in darkness need You O LORD, turn them into light in Jesus’ name and help them to live as a child of light should. Help all of us to have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but to rather expose them. Because everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why we say: “Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” Lord, please let no one deceive them anymore with empty words. Lord, may they be a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, belonging to God, that they may declare praises of His who called them out of darkness into Your wonderful light. I ask all this in the precious name of Jesus our Lord and savior who died to make these requests possible! AMEN!”
Yesterday I learned a very powerful truth, prayer is powerful (this I already knew) when you pray the Word of God over someone (this I didn’t realize). So today I spent a good portion of the day looking up verses for specific people in my life that I’ve been praying for already, and re-worded them (only a bit) to turn them into a prayer for those specific groups of people. In other words, this is the first in a series of powerful prayers that you too can pray over the loved ones in your life. ENJOY and GOD BLESS!!!
(This prayer is: 2 Samuel 22:29; Ephesians 5:8; Ephesians 5:11; Ephesians 5:13-14; Ephesians 5:6 & 1 Peter 2:9)
